School Lunch Menu

Schools in West Lothian offer a lunchtime meals menu on a weekly rotation. The school menu is available at all primary schools in the area.

Early Learning and Childcare Settings

From 16th August 2021 all children who attend nursery will receive a free meal with the option of pre-ordering online being made available shortly. Parent/carers may still opt to provide a packed lunch for their child and should inform the nursery staff.

What do school meals cost?

Primary School Meals

From 17 August 2021 primary school meals will cost £1.96 per day for the primary school menu. Please note: all Primary 1 to Primary 4 children are now entitled to a free school meal. From January 2022 all P5s will be eligible.

Secondary School Meals

From 17th August 2021 secondary school meals cost £2.20 per day. However secondary schools offer a cash cafeteria facility, therefore meal options vary by school. Secondary School Meal Price List (PDF) [31KB] (opens new window)
