Leadership Groups
All children are split into Leadership Groups which meet regularly during the school year.

Eco Committee
The Eco Committee are responsible for the sustainable development goal of 'Climate Action' and as part of their green flag award this year they are busy working to improve the focus areas of litter, health and wellbeing and sustaining our world.
Pupil Council
The Pupil Council are responsible for the sustainable development goal of 'No Poverty' and work to contribute to areas of our school improvement plan. They lead the work for our UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools Award and are working hard to develop a reading culture across Polkemmet Primary School starting with enhancing our school library.
Health Committee
The Health Committee organise lots of events throughout the year to keep all the children at Polkemmet Primary School safe, healthy, achieving, nurtured, active, respected, responsible and included. They plan our health week, big breakfasts, and road safety week and are responsible for the sustainable development goal of 'Zero Hunger' and our application to the Sport Scotland award.
